Aneet Kakkar
Aneet is a rising 12th-grade student at Olathe North High School. She has taken courses such as AP United States History, AP Language, and Composition, excelling in her coursework. She is currently a proud National Honors Society member and honor roll student. Aneet aspires to be a lawyer. She is interested in the law and the impact lawyers have on people’s lives. This aligns with her internship because of the relationship and communication aspect. Aneet reflects on her internship stating “This internship has been an incredible opportunity, allowing me to be part of something I’m passionate about, diversity and just having this experience enabled me to connect with other people and learn more about social media and marketing” (Kakkar).

Trinity Bates
Trinity Bates is a rising junior at Staley High School, currently interning at True Empowering Consulting. Her internship spans the current months from June to July. She has done exceptionally well in the following courses; Marketing principles, French I, and AP Psychology.
Trinity aspires to be a marketing manager. She is particularly interested in growing a company's clientele by using social media and marketing campaigns. She also loves to travel and meet new people.
Trinity is the captain of the Step Team at her school, she participated in the girl's basketball team and Track and Field. She was a part of clubs such as Black Student Union (BSU) and DECA. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, writing poetry, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. According to her peers, she is very outgoing and she always has a smile on her face. Her aura is very welcoming and peaceful and she always devotes her full attention to every task she is given.

Tamia Bates
Tamia Bates is a rising freshman at Staley High School. She is currently interning at True Empowering Consulting. Her internship spans the summer months, from June to July. She is an honor roll student, her favorite subject is math at the moment. She has received 3 awards for showing her Middle schools values such as Self-Starter, Trustworthy, Respectful and Responsible.Tamia aspires to major in healthcare although her number one dream is to play professional basketball. She wants to learn how to better understand people so that she can be able to help them, which aligns with her current internship focus. Tamia has always enjoyed sports. She has danced for the majority of her life, ran cross country and track, and of course plays basketball. Known for her thoughtfulness and kind heart, Tamia consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and determination. A quality she has is that of a perfectionist, which causes her to care deeply about everything she does. Tamia reflects on her Intern experience, stating, “This experience has allowed me to express my creative ability and learn more life skills that I can apply to everything such as being innovative.”

Yatana Soe
Yatana Soe is a rising Junior at Oak Park High School, currently interning at True Empowering Consulting. Her internship spans the summer months, from June to July. She has excelled in courses such as APUSH and taking honor/advanced classes every year. Yatana aspires to become a mechanic. She is particularly interested in how to find support to build your own company, which aligns with her current internship focus. Yatana is a member of ASU and Diversity club at her school; along with that she is also the main dancer for her dance team. She enjoys swimming and playing tennis whenever she has the chance. Through her internship, Yatana has gained valuable insights into the field of mechanics. The experience has solidified her desire to pursue her career in this area and has provided her with
practical skills that will benefit her future studies and help her advertise her own shop. Yatana reflects on her experience, stating, “This internship has been developmental to me, it has allowed me to learn new skills to help me in the real-world.”

Na'Zire Canady
Na’Zire is a rising 9th grade student attending McClure North High School. Na’Zire has an interest in sports, he is a student athlete he plays football, he runs track and he dreams of being in the NFL one day. Na’Zire future plans are to focus his mind on sports and doing will in high school to become the best person he can be. This internship will help Na'zire to sharpen his skills as a young adult and as a student athlete. One saying that Na’Zire keeps in mind is “in life in order to survive you have to be a problem solver and a critical thinker”. When he stumbles across something that he thinks he can’t do he just thinks and remembers that saying. Na’Zire is grateful to intern with True Empowering and hopes to have a good connection with its people. He hope to pick up on some skills that can help him in life.
